I am Caitlin and I am going to tell you about Hurricane Katrina! Hurricane Katrina was a terrible act on mother nature, many people lost their lives and some were injured badly. This horrible storm took place in New Orleans, Louisiana. The storm came out of the Gulf of Mexico.Telephone poles, trees, and houses were destroyed.Police got on boats and had to go get people off the roof of their destroyed homes. People got their most important belongings such as their pets and their children to safety and then after they stayed at the New Orleans football field. After people left New Orleans, police and S.W.A.T  came and looked for looters, looters are people who come and get the remaining items of a storm that are valuable. People started to get food when there was a place nearby they could go and get some food. One young man said ” I can’t say I’m going home because i don’t know where my home is anymore.” One person was found dead in an attic. The remaining of the homes were covered with mold. People had to suck out the remaining water from the city also refrigerators were written on from people who came back. Then all the refrigerators were moved to an area. There was a water line mark for as high as the water during the storm. One lady’s house the roof was torn off and she put a blue waterproof cover on her house instead of fixing it also she came back and her chickens had survived and came back to her house and she still after the storm she began to live in the house again. There is more to this story read the book to find out the rest. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to know about Hurricane Katrina. I read this books to know what happened long ago. We got a new music teacher , we had a field trip, and we had an awesome christmas party.

We did not go to Jefferson, we did not have a talent show, Mrs .Smith left.

I learned that Abraham Lincoln wanted to stop slavery in the stop so they declared war.  Also I did not know that Abraham Lincoln was assisnated. Also the Civil War was not just one but many wars the world’s bloodest wars.

My Little Lady is a four footed horse,
her maine and tail is amazingly course.

Her soft warm hair is as cozy as a blanket,
I can prove it because I don’t like to fake it.

She is my sunny skies,
now that I realize.

Her two back feet are as white as snow,
I bought her not too long ago.

She is my floating cloud when she strides,
my other horse rides aside.

As we ride into the sunset,
she is my amazing pet.

According to history.com St. Valentine went to prison for sending the first  ” valentine ”to a young girl he was in love with.Claudius did not what this so he wanted St. Valentine to death.
